Here is the Sibenik cathedral atm :) I now have to work on the details.

"enjoy more one more mod" as CivArmy would say ;)

And here it ism mostly completed. This also shows the difference between the graphic of the 3d model, and the final result after 2d correction ;)

Due to various factors, having mostly to do with the size of the model, and its geometry (small building, simple shapes) this was a lot easier to work with than my previous buildings, which is why it turned out so good imo :) (it is a lot simpler to draw a door that looks like one, when you can use 16 pixels for it, rather when you have to use three pixels)

    Ty Supa :)

It has to do with the contrast between the 2d work and the 3d surfaces that remain part of the image till the end.
Also the fact that it has been modelled in 3d means that i do not have to worry about calculating shadows, or the precise geometrics of the forms, since those are already accurate after the model has been created. So i can then focus on the details :)

Do you find this to be complete? I have to work on the side roofs a bit, but other than that i think that it has been finished.

I don't know how it is in general but a pathway around the church and perhaps some graves or whart ever would improve it quite a lot compared to the grass only background... anything else is quite good:goodjob:

It doesnt have graves; it is near some houses ;)

I have uploaded it by now anyway though :) I will be starting work on the Battersea Power Station (the one on the cover of Pink Floyd's "Animals" album)

    How about This??.

Its the most imporant building to America that most people don't know exists: USTRANSCOM. The center of all American Military Logistics. Without TRANSCOM we couldn't move or respully our troops!

This looks somewhat too generic i think, and on the other hand i cannot imagine it being needed by many people (i can only see it being significant in a very specialised mod about modern USA/world).

Also the pic is not good; it only shows a diagonal view, with the rear not being at all visible, and the distances between the two roofed buildings also are hard to calculate.

Generally it is good to find pics of buildings that can have use for more people + are characteristic enough looking (this looks a bit like a second class hotel :) ).

What the crap do you need the rear of the building for? You only see the front in game. Its no more generic than any of your churches. And very usefull, might I add, to many mods, since it can be used as a wonder (+naval movement, Acts as no maintence airport). Also, there is only one building in the picture So I have no Idea what you're talking about with the distances thing. But here. Here is a Top down view. Or rtaher, there will a a top down view once I load it up to imageshak.

It still looks like a motel.
Also you should try being more polite, if you seriously expect someone to decide to spend his time on making something you want :p

Well it says under his name that he's a "very mean person." :p

ANyway, for a US military building, how about the Federal Gold Depository at Fort Knox, Kentucky? Here's some pictures:

It looks somewhat distinctive. Could have a use in the game as some kind of economic benefit. There are already 3d models of it out there.

Ideally you should provide three types of pics:

    1) an isometric (or at least diagonal)
    2) a bird's eye view
    3) a side view

This is the only way that i can be certain that the distances between the various parts of the building are acurately modelled and scaled.

With the pics you gave i could only make this model of the Fort Knox, which probably is not entirely accurate.

The building is very simple, but at least it is well-known :)

This is the church of Cthulhu.

Cthulhu worship in small orthodox chappels has been in practice for quite some time now; ussually the carefull observer can make an informed guess about which of the small chappels are used for underground Cthulhu worhip by looking at the shape of the small tower they have; its shape looks vaguely like Cthulhu's mouth-tentacles. The Cthulhu society does not attempt to take over the chapel, which is property of the christian church, but it will use signs carved on its walls to communicate with its members in the locality. Those are ussually erased later on, but sometimes they can still be seen months after the message which was coded in them was of any use.

    Nice one.

The church of Cthulhu is actually a very strong oponent of the Raving Heretics' Society. We are both fighting for worshiping in small secluded orthodox chapels. :)
    Spoiler :
We were the ones who erased your signs just to piss you off.:D

The rites of Cthulhu are almost ready to begin ;)
Unless you see anything which should be changed in the chapel

Cthulhu! Now we need someone to make a Cthulhu unit. AT the end of the game, Cthulhu rises up and annihilates all civilizations, and drives the player insane. :crazyeye:

Ill try to top my Timisoara cathedral with the St. Sofia of Thessalonike cathedral ;)

This was built in the 6th century AD, and is the third biggest cathedral of the city, after the St. Demetrios and the Acheiropoietos.
