Does anyone have information for new players?

I'm brand new to playing civ 5 and G&K. I'm looking for information that can help me develop strategies that I can use for early, mid, and late game. If you happen to have any documents that could help a new player, or anything at all, please post them.

Make others Civs fight each other trough diplomacy/trade, so you can lay back and relax. Smoke a cigar, maybe.
