A simple question: did you believe in Santa, do you believe now, if not why not?

Santa does seem like a nice thing to believe in as the worst thing that can happen is that you don’t get any gifts – or is it the Matrix problem he is to nice?

SANTA=SATAN, just a lilly shift in letters.
    1. He wears RED cloth, the colour of the deamons.
    2. He wears that huge hat to hide his horns, same with his boots to hide his legs.
    3. Santa comes on X-Mas. X-Mas is not the birth of Christ but the older celebration of Sun coming back, shortest day of the year. (Shiftet around two days during history)
    4. Christ himself said something about disliking gifts, so why do ppl think it is worth while buing presents like crazy for HIS birthday? Because SATAN messed the whole thing up.
    5. Christ was most probably born in spring, around April. Why X-Mas than in Winter? This is SATANS evil plans.
    6. The count of sucides is never higher as around X-Mas. Why? SATAN interferes! Loosing faith and getting desperate SATAN tempts ppl to waste their lifes.
    7. X-Mas means for the ppl to put their faith towards mammon, that prevents them to put their faith towards god. SATAN gets a lot of souls each year again.

Conclusion: stay away from Santa=SATAN, who will tempt you each year. Abandon X-Mas. Celebrate the birth of God's son in spring instead. Don't put your faith in mammon but in God, or your soul will be condemned in eternity. SANTA is the personified evil!

The reason he wears red is because of Coca Cola

Christ was estimated to be born on 17 April 6 BC (star and planet movements were used to estimate this)

I 'figured out' on my own that there was no Santa - without a single bit of clue/evidence whatsoever. This was around age 8 or 9. The whole thing really, I was always suspect of. I think I just kind of 'knew' that it was a gag the adults were playing on kids, but I just went along with it. And my parents were good... my mom would even make a mess of the ashes in fire place, and make some footprints, etc. I had every reason to believe Santa was real... but 'something' told me the whole thing was more than just a little 'suspect'.

Basically, I was too smart to believe in Santa. I 'went along with it' for a number of years, but I never REALLY 'believed'. It was a fun little fairytale, but I never got carried away by it.

Coincidentaly, my little brother was only about 2 years old when I finally confronted my mother with my suspicion. I never ruined it for him, as my mom (who was the youngest) was by her older sisters. They ruined it for her at a very young age, and she always hated them for it. That's why she went to such efforts to make it 'special' for her own kids. And it was fun. But again, I was just too intuitive for the whole thing.

Always assume that children of all ages believe: a bad judgement, such as making a public statement similar to those seen in this thread, can upset them and cause scowls from their parents.

    Evil, evil, CFC members! :p

I didn't believe in Santa, but I did believe in Sinterklaas. I think 90% of Dutch kids do untill they turn 8 or something.

Here's a picture of the sweet holy man, how can you not believe in a guy who looks like that:

of course I beleive in him. Me, Satan, Santa, Jesus, and Zeus play poker in Hell every Tuesday night and we bet on your pathetic human souls(gotta watch out for Jesus though because he cheats)

yes I believed in santa, no not now, because it's a physical impossibility.

Sure it may be a nice thing to believe in and trick little kids into believing it, but that does not make it so.

But It's kind of hard to disprove Santa...

To be serious how many kids behave an entire year... so there are not many(if any!) kids Santa have to give presents, so only becouse you or me have not been given any presents from Santa does not say anything does it.

the better question would be ; Do you still believe in what Santa stand for? materialism! There are many still living their lives as if the one who dies with the most toys wins.
