Does everyone agree that this is Carthage?

Cut us some slack, the last time we've heard something new was at PAX and we're running out of things to discuss. :p

I'm telling, you discussing the fluffiness of forest and jungle is the way to go.. it's also good for the planet.. until we chop them down for some Hammers when building Parthenon.
 
This is more lavender and ivory while carthage is purple and white! It has to be a new civ! AHHH

Well, we won't have to if we can just move production from another city :cool: .
 
Whatever the civ is, i would settle the cow next to deer/stone/mountain. Tech pottery and build a grainery. The hill should be saved for a mine, since the land is quite Production poor. The river should be farmed as it gets the civil service bonus.

Cow gives 3 Food start, unlike settling on wheat or banana.

Also settling on cow does not waste another turn.
The player that moved the settler would have gotten a much better capital this way.
Observatory is a very good bonus if you get a decent sized city.

Settling on flat land does have the penalty of lower city defence strength.
