Does the map generator always put the monsoon rainforest far away?

    I'm trying to play a game where I can build big cities, so obviously I want to start near the Monsoon jungle. I've rolled the dice a bunch of times now and it always seems to start on the opposite side of the map from where I land. Is there something in the map generator that actually ensures that you don't start out close to Monsoon?

    It does seem that way - but only mostly. I've started in the Monsoon Jungle a few times. Close to it, more.

    Yeah, after quite a few rolls, I started nearish to it. Not on top of it, but within about 10 game years I'd found it.
