I was playing a game before the latest patch, and had the early Social Policy that gives you an extra happiness for each city connected to the capital.
I resumed the game after the latest patch, and I noticed I didn't get happiness for cities connected to my capital anymore. I still had the Social Policy, though now it only gives you 1/2 a happy face. But I wasn't getting any, even though I had several cities connected to my capital.
Throughout the rest of the game I connected more cities to my capital, but never got any happy faces (or half happy faces).
Is this just because I started the game before the patch? Or does it give me credit, but just hide it somewhere I can't see it? Does it work in a brand new post-patch game? Or is there another condition you have to meet?
