i'm geeky about certain things.

but being a geek isnt a bad thing, for instance...i'm a music geek, a guitar geek, and a foreplay geek.

and being a foreplay geek is definately not a bad thing, lol

As per your second question, I'm here for one.:lol: On a frum for a computer game I used to play, about history and civilization. I also watch the History Channel when Shootout! is on, I love that show. I'm bilingual at the moment and hope to be filingual(?). That's about it.

edit: I have sex often, that gets me kewl points.:p
 
I guess i'm a nerd because I'm smart, quiet, and shy. But I actually am quite atletic when I care to be and was always the best (even though I was the smallest) in gym. Not a dork or a geek. So I'm a nerd.

Do people expect you to be athletic? Because I am not athletic in the sense that I am good at sports, just fanatical so that I end up being good. Especially at running involving activities.

Always nice for them to underestimate you... :)
 
I consider myself to be a book geek. But I'm getting a lot of my friends and classmates calling me a nerd often.

Granted I suck at math, I focus most of my time on jurisprudential and legal theory. I wonder if that still makes me a nerd? :confused:
 
Used to be a nerd. Not anymore. :)

Unfortunately, some rude people still consider me a nerd even though they know I'm not. :gripe:
 
Nerd, by far, though I guess I can be classified by a geek as well. Using the definitions that Yuri posted.

I consider myself a nerd. To me, the terms Dork and Geek denote being somewhat of a loner, or lacking in social graces. I have a pretty active social life, I worked out often (before I screwed up my legs and can barely walk that is), etc etc. I'm hardly shy...those who are quiet and shy usually make lousy performers.

However, I am given to more intellectual pursuits I guess, or am at least driven by an intellectual curiosity, which in some areas, makes me a little nerdy I guess. Thats okay with me, since there are plenty of other slighty nerdy people where I live to be my closest friends.

Now if there were only some more nerdy women around here...

Im too complicated to be defined by terms like that, and i think it is propably the same for everyone. I can act the geek, nerd or dork at times.
 
I love my computer... though have the self-respect not to admit to any of the poll options :D
