Dreadtown is not directly next to any enemy, although it could still be reached. Another unit could be useful but it is pop 6 so maybe we should build an aqueduct

I forgot that this was Civ 2 and not Civ 3 where you lose shields for changing options so on all my polls pretend it says build another pikeman rather than finish the pikeman...So these polls are now for the next build option and all the cities will have to finish building their Pikeman.

Oh and btw this thread should have been called Dreadtown 3.1 , if anyone is worried...

There's no penalty to change the pike to a diplomat, caravan or crusader.

Since it has zero trade routes, I would vote for changing the pikemen into a caravan. After that, then an improvement like a library or aqueduct.

Well Leo's comes before gunpowder, so we will have the option of upgrading that phalanx to a pikeman later and don't need to build one now. I say switch to a caravan like everyone else.

Aquaduct----Barracks----Pikeman----Caravan----Library, or library first..

An update:

I will advise that that the build order is immediatly changed to a caravan and since its tied for the next option, I will say aqueduct...
