Can I Kick It?
Thorsten Veblen once wrote: Property is still in the nature of trophy... meaning that people define themselves by both what they acquire and what they desire. Nowhere is this more evident than in the automobile. On the whole, no other machine is so finely engineered and desirable to men then the auto. So imagine for a second that money is not an object and you could have any car in the world. What would it be?
For me, my ultimate car would be a real Rally Car like the Subaru Impreza model:
I'd tune it up and run heats over Gaurdsmen pass, doing laps between ski resorts. But for a nice drive on normal roads I'd have to have an all-American classic reborn from one of the greatest muscle cars ever made -the Shelby Series 1:
