Dreams

I once had a lucid dream.

In one I was learning how to fly.. Not in a plane, just in my body. It's a weird experience and other people report the same thing - that when you "fly for the first time", in a lucid dream, you first have to learn how to do it. So you end up going in random directions until you get good at it.

And I dreamed exactly that :crazyeye:

My dreams are usually rather realistic, which gets confusing: I often wake up thinking I have to do something which someone said to me in my dream, not realizing it's not real.
I've also repeatedly dreamed the thought 'I'm not dreaming' in nightmares, which doesn't exactly make them better.

Well, tonight I was running from the Austrian police. In my dreams, natürlich. I guess learning German is to blame for that

I have a persistent dream that I am driving my car via remote control. But I can't see where it is going after it gets out of my sight. So I run after it before it crashes as I try to remember which way the road goes next. Then I awaken.

I have dreamt several times that i dont remember where i have parked my car, i have also dreamt that i am driving my old car (not the new one) and i cant brake. Both are somewhat distressing. The second one could be explained because my old car had in fact weak brakes (some of my dreams seems pretty unimaginative, i know).

Do you refer to my last post? if so, it was not that terrible. The usual interpretation i have always heard for both dreams is that the dreamer doesnt know what direction to take in life or cant control it. And i mostly concur since i had that sort of dreams along a phase in my life when that precisely was my situation (including my old car which was a nightmare to drive in real life)

That's unusual. I often have dreams where there is no toilet paper to be had. But that happens in RL too. Which is why I tend to go to the toilet before I leave the house in the morning. That and the fact that public toilets are dreadful places in almost every way - except when you really do need one.

Spoiler :
Perhaps I need to get over this phobia of public toilets? Maybe I should deliberately go out of my way to visit some. Hmm. But then I might get something of a unwanted reputation. This needs careful thought, I can see.

I have the "can't remember where the car is parked" dream as well. It also keeps getting stolen.

When I was going to school, I frequently had a dream that I was chronically late for class.
