I don't know that I ever have either. Best I've ever had is the Glenlivet Tim mentioned earlier. I almost never actually buy it. I think I've gone through 3 bottles lifetime. Is nice to sip on as the ice cubes melt and change the profile. But I don't taste all that well, so I wouldn't really take my word on it. I'm more likely to buy Ice House malt liquor than scotch in any given month.

Heh! I get one 32 oz can from Caseys. It's enough. But it's not every month. Needs to get hot again so we re-enter gin&tonic season. Schweppes and Skol baby!

Just because I like you so much I will forgive you for what would otherwise be a mortal offense.

    Glenfiddich.

    ewwwww.

    Not really, but ew. ;)

Edit: The Kraken stuff is good. The glen stuff is good. The Ice House stuff is not good. The schweppes and skol stuff is not good. Just fyi, in case anyone wanders past some and considers buying it. They're just... specifically idomatic, I suppose.

And I don't care, all of that mixes with cola :D.

This is even more of a mortal offense than suggesting that I advocated for Glen Livet. If I actually saw someone mixing Glenfiddich with cola I could not be held responsible for my actions.

I’ve never heard of mixing Scotch with cola… sounds like blasphemous, communist, fascist, treasonous, un-American, heresy to me…

But then again... if you bought the Scotch… hey… its your Scotch, pour it in your gas tank if you want…

What kind of Scotch are we talking? If it's a blend, Johnny Walker or some such, I'd probably disapprove, but it's a free country.

If it's a malt, I'm obligated by ancient Celtic law to burn your house down.

Since they did refer to "all of that" and there were single malts in the conversation at hand I'd say it is time for the torches.

Farmboy, no picture of Bowmore? Metalhead is going to be disappointed.

I'm not totally conversant in Celtic law, but if you see Traitorfish heading up your driveway you might want to get a hose ready.

I think it's J that needs to get the rocksalt out, I advocated for mixing coke into the 2 day old campfire sludge.
