driver not found....

As some of you may know i have been "quiet" as of late, well this is because my PC is not working AT ALL!

When i turn it on it gives me the choice os normal mode, safe mode etc, whatever i picj it says:
Fault in XMS cache
Drivers not found
Registry service may be inooperative this session
(or there abouts) it then goes to select new drivers-i can see the C drive etc but cant select anything and auto cant find any! Any ideas?

PS i have Windows Me

Backup. Format.

If you cannot enter Windows via Safe Mode, then backup by using the command prompt.
