DSL-Overrated

I just quit DSL. Why? A few reasons:
1) It didn't speed up my Internet access. Though downloads were faster, I' going to buy a new PC soon anyway.
2) It stopped working when I tried to switch phone companies, so I've been unable to get online for 2 weeks.
3) Costumer service (with my company) was terrible.
4) Lastly, it was very expensive ($39/month).
So, I'm back to dial-up, but at least I'm on something!

Don't complain, satellite based solutions are even more expensive Okay that was a bad joke sorry. But since I used to work for a satcom company, I can tell you it's not cheap.
And btw, cable sometimes is better than DSL, especially if you have no upload ratio at all.
