I have requested this many times since Civ IV, but it's long past due time to truly support dual monitors. The world map should be on the left. A detail screen should be on the right, such as the city screen. That way you can click-click-click the cities and see if you are doing everything you want in the context of the world map. Much quicker. It has to be a setting, of course, because people play on laptops, but this UI improvement is just so huge that it's worth doing.

The problem is that although it'd be a huge benefit to some, it'd be a completely useless feature to many. And it would be a trivial feature to add, especially since there is no city screen in Civ VI.

I like the idea, but do not limit it to specific special screens!!!! Allow the main interface to span across multiple monitors, without forcing us to use them all, or even all of any screen. If it was a re-sizeable window, then I'd have much more control of how much I wanted on screen at any given time, and the option to change it on the fly.

Now there's an idea. Just make Civ6 windowed. Then the guy with the 27" screen can have 2 windows on one screen, while the other guy can have the World View sprawled over two screens.

It's a challenge for the coders, but this has been done so many times before already, the software guys should be able to handle it. Multi-windowing does not have to mean multi-threading, in this instance (which is much harder still).
