DVD Decoder Problems!!! HELP ME!

I have a PC well above all the Minumum (and Recommended) Specifications for Civ IV, but it says I dont have a valid DVD Decoder...

Anyone able to help? I really wanna play this game!!!

Not sure what you are trying to say...

Do you mean it can't read the disc? Did it install correctly? Can the DVD drive read another DVD disc ok? What kind of DVD drive is it?

Not heard of this error before although there has been a few defective discs that have seem to have been released. Strange it says invalid DVD decoder.

It installs correctly, all is well, but it wont play. It says I dont have a valid DVD Decoder.
