Early Modern Walls

The advent of gunpowder artillery rendered the thin and tall medieval/ancient era walls obsolete as they weren't able to withstand the battering effect of direct fire solid shot. This prompted a response in walls becoming much thicker with earthen ramparts to absorb artillery fire and mount their own defensive artillery.

I have these to replace the obsolete Ancient/Medieval set of town walls that go obsolete at Metallurgy. Their bombard defense value should be higher. Have them obsolete at Steel or Rep Parts to move on to end game fortifications.

These simple town walls that are meant to be no longer be in effect once the city reaches size 7. I want them to look less impressive than the permanent Enceinte. The American one is from stock game's city grapics. The Western European, Medi and Middle Eastern sets are taken from Total War. The Far Eastern one is converted from Kyriakos' city set. This is the one I previously used as a Great Wall section. But I've seen converted a thinner walled set for that. These thicker walls are better used for the early modern period. I suggest the name "Ramparts" to distinguish them from the ancient/medieval walls. Unless you don't mind using "Reinaissance Walls" which IMO is inaccurate as these types of fortifications lasted well into the early Industrial age. In that case "Early Modern" is a better period term.
