Assuming the NHL Playoffs were to start now, who would you pick to win Lord Stanley's Cup?

    Not Vancouver.....

Hmm......Maybe if the Flames pick up a veteran goalie, then they could win the cup.

Hey! Where is the "Radioactive Monkey" option, or the "None of the above" option? Sheesh.

I hope the team that V2010 wants to win doesn't win (I know, I am evil, but just watch, the team he wants to win will win . . . )

I wanted serious responses, not let's-mess-up-your-poll responses.

Additional: Technically, I did provide a "None of the Above" option, but it means you're picking a team that isn't eligible for the playoffs yet. If you don't want to choose a team, then don't vote.

That is a serious response. Same with this response.

 I can see I'm the only one who picked the Nashville Predators. Oh well, your loss.

It looks like Ottawa will be going the distance this year. Shaky golatending, but with Bondra, it's hard to imagine who can top them in the East. As for the West, well... it isn't your Mom's Western Conference anymore. I think the balance of power has shifted out East.

    Go Sens!

This is the year!!!! GO LEAFS GO!!!!!

At least I'd like to see the Stanley Cup come back to Canada, though it would hurt to see Ottawa be the team to do it.

    Go Leafs Go

Bondra with Sens does not address what they need, grit people who go into corners. THe only reason they got so far last year was the fact the leafs were elimanted and thusly prevented from the annual tradition of beating up Ottawa.

Personally, I'd like to see Vancouver take the cup -- but any Canadian team would be better than an American team.

Ottawa vs. Vancouver, Game 7, over-time with Ottawa as the winner. :D That is what I want, and it is possible.

The Broad Street Bullies and the Big Bad Bruins don't win Stanley Cups anymore, boys and girls. Take a look at the last 15 winners.

The Sens are in good company, both in skills and in grit, with the Red Wings, the Devils, the Avs and the Canucks, but come on Leafs fans, don't kid(d) yourselves. Having Don Cherry telling you otherwise doesn't make it so... 37 years and counting.

There was an article in the Globe and Mail about a 105 years old Leafs fan... what a way to go to your grave, no?

    Bondra just scored....

YES!!! Except for one slight detail: I want Vancouver as the winner. But it would be a good series nonetheless.

I've been cheering for the Canucks since the late 70's and keep telling myself that this may be the year. After last nights performance in Minny, I am having second thoughts.

Oh hell. This is the year!!!

I really want Vancouver to win a cup. Behind the Sens, they are my favourite team, ever since I lived in Vancouver when I was young. We came close back in '94 though(Game 7), and the Canucks could definetly go all the way, as could the Sens. :D

Ahh, will be fun to watch the Canucks do good for a while, then go on a losing streak just before the final game as they always do . . .

I wonder which US team will win the Stanley this year . . . ?

I only care about seeing the Canucks lose, as usual. And they will lose, mark my words, they will lose . . .
