Easier way to send units to distant cities?

Can't seem to find the answer to this, so...

How can I quickly send a unit to a distant city, without having to scroll across the continent and back? I seem to recall in Civ3 maybe(?) that you could right-click (maybe?) on a unit and the list of cities would appear that you could then send it to. Or am I just imagining things...?

I thought that the rally point feature was what I was looking for, but it looks like it's more for newly-created units, yes?

Speaking of working with units (while I'm here)..
is there a quick way to wake/activate multiple units from multiple cities - the Military Advisor shows me where they are, but how do I quickly get them active?

Thanks!

There is a world map in the bottom right corner. You can click on the unit, order it to move, click on the world map, and then your main screen will be that part of the world, where you can click on your destination.

Thanks for the reply - tried that method - just wishing there was something still quicker and more accurate.

Thanks!
