Eastern, Western Ukrainian Peace Plan

Since things have been getting a little heated with the invasion and the great loss of life as well as the increased risk of nuclear genocide the longer this conflict drags on, here is my plan to please both Putin and NATO to decrease the likelihood of this spilling over. Although I'm not sure if Ukrainians may accept such a plan, we might be able to force compliance by threatening to cut off further Javelin missiles and they'll get their no-fly zone (although only for the western half). Putin will get the Eastern half and at least have a little more of a buffer to prevent what he believes are Ukrainian Nazis from terrorizing the Russian ethnic eastern Donbass and Crimea. The Dnieper will serve as a natural barrier between both sides and mines and trenchworks can be built on either side of the river, maybe even an electric fence or two.

If they want to be united. If Putin believes the Eastern half is overwhelming in its support and identity for Russia then it may never happen for the foreseeable future. Or maybe 50ish years or whatever time till Putin or any wannabe successors are dead.

I'm not sure splitting Kiev in half is good idea. Splitting cities is problematic, Jerusalem and Berlin can attest to this.

Why would we need a peace plan? That assumes we are somehow going back to a status quo ante. That might be too late now. The fellers on the other side, Putin's side, will take and hold what they can, and then argue that they are perfectly within their rights. The other side can decide to go along with that, but there is neither need or expectation to do so in any kind of formal sense.

Unless we are thinking the world will actually go right back to the way it was before. But that's probably not going to happen. So what's the need for this?

Someone will sign it on behalf of all Ukraine, and it will be a matter of convenience if the mandate to do so is recognized.

Is YouTube blocked in Russia now? I seem to hear conflicting things about it.

Blocking could explain why the usual suspects for the defense of Russian government actions aren't turning up? No need to assume the westerners are stopping them then. If Putin feels he needs to control the narrative in Russia further, they have no recourse. Putin-apologists outside Russia otoh can keep on trucking of course.

The reality is that any land ceded to Putin will be a victory for him. The problem is after 2014, and again now, what is put into place to prevent him pulling another fast one.

Because that's the actual problem here. What he can get away. So long as he can, he will. This has been demonstrated twice now. So it follows that any settlement needs to consider this, but the obvious irony is that any reference to this would likely be rejected by Russia.

Russian and Ukraine leanguage is very similar. But in all Ukraine the official language is Ukranian and in Russia the official language is Russian.
Now we need to decide witch side of the borders Dombass is.It is hard to say, it is so hard that have a war to just decide that.
