Ectogenesis Pod

I am trying to make the Ectogenesis Pod give 2 extra food from farms but only in the city its built in. Does anyone know how to restrict it to one city? Because PlayerPerks_ImprovementYieldEffects effects all farms.
 
Since wonders are buildings, I was going to suggest using the buildingyieldmodifyer tables instead of having the building grant a perk, (Similar to how Alloy Foundries only provide production for their city) but it doesn't look like there's a table for improvements, just resources, features, or terrain.
You could have your building boost local Fungus and Tubers and Fruit, or grasslands/deserts/hills, or miasma/marshes/forests, but not plantations or farms.
 
Buildings can only boost resources not improvements. As you noticed you can have a building give a perk which boost an improvement but the perk is global rather than local. There is no easy way to get around this.

But hope is not lost. I'm working on a convoluted way to fake allowing buildings to boost improvements. It has some constraints and isn't done yet so don't hold your breath.
 
Ah alright. I decided to give 1 food to plains grasslands and coast. Gets at the same idea, and is nice to specialize a city with flat terrain to be a high pop city.
