    Looking good Kly. Great work!!

Ivan--I would take whatever time you need as long as you give us regular updates so we know you haven't disappeared. 3 to 5 turns is what we've typically played.

    Strategic Objectives:
    Win By Domination

    Operational Objectives:
    Africa:
Destroy Last 5 British and French Cities in Africa
    Prepare to Destroy Ottomans
Take Madagascar to eliminate British Colonial Holding
Question: Are we maintaining our reputation? We have 7 turns of peace left with them. Do we have to wait to attack, or can we break the treaty?

    Americas:
Blunt US Power in the Carribean
    Deal with US Navy
    Take Cuba then Central America
Take and hold South America from the Isthmus South
Take peace with US when available

    Europe:
    Maintain German Neutrality –
    - ROP with Germany
Assemble expeditionary force to the Iberian Peninsula
Move units to Europe as they come free from Africa

    Examine our situation.
Reset our research to run on Scientists with 0% Science. 4 Turn Research now. Sold off Reseach Labs to save a few coins.

Reset some builds in Central Russia from Stock Exchanges to Artillery as we have need of much arty to exert our will in Europe.

Wake some Mtn Guns and shell British fleet off the West African Coast leaving a loney transport.

Sign ROP with Germany. Paris, Marseilles and Amsterdam are now within reach of our Continental Forces. 17 Defenders in Amsterdam.

The British Trim 2 French Defenders off of Tunis: Thanks!
They Drop 4 Cav on New Zealand, so that is where the Reinforcements will go.
The Fleet in the Caribbean was bombed by Airships out of Belize and Cuba
Lost two BB off of the US West Coast to Raiding US BBs and had one BB south of Jamaica win in defense.

France and Germany sign peace, France and Spain sign peace.

Production in Saigon was sabotaged and our spy in London was caught.

I used the production cycle to short rush Setsu BBs in Scandinavia and Int Customs Ports in Africa.

    Time to start Shuffling Troops.

Africa: Algiers, Tangiers, Tunis, Casablanca and Tripoli fall to Imperial Forces netting us one new Corps in the Process.
Shuffle troops to Madagascar for next turn.

Scout Barcelona: only three units. Get a new Corps clearing the road of a damn French Cavalry
Oops the Germans are blocking the approaches. Looks like they’ll get it next turn.

Shift Krupps guns and some Corps to Europe: Assault Amsterdam. It falls for the loss of 1 E inf and 1 vet inf.
Sortie the Scandinavian Fleet to sink an British BB Raider off the N coast of Norway.

Currently at 59% of world area.

Edit: A quick punitive Naval raid on Belize downs 3 Airships.:groucho:

    TBC on Monday.

I didn't get a chance to post some of the stuff I usually do after doing my sets of turns, so just sort of going back to that point for benefit of those who are following along.

Japanese economy: Treasury has 217k gold with income of almost 27k a turn. Top shield producer is Tokyo at 643 and Kagoshima next at 319. Top pop city is Moscow at 100. Biggest science producer is Alexandria at 132. Biggest commerce producer is Tokyo at 353.

    Japanese military OOB:

1237 total units with 1252 units allowed.

    89 colonial workers, 48 corps, 129 transports, 3 advanced airships, 341 infantry, 90 battleships/dreadnaughts, 5 CA, 4 CL, 9 BC, 84 DD, 15 home guard, 20 colonial sentry, 5 city guards, 34 cav, 8 MG, 15 engineer, 85 mountain guns, 8 small artillery, 132 big artillery, 3 subs, 3 scout blimps, 3 gunboats, 77 Colonial riflemen, 5 fighters, 4 Philippine scouts, 2 marines.

We also have a ton of captured workers, RM's and quite a bit of captured mountain artillery.

    Brit order of battle:

1 colonial worker, 90 infantry, 5 armored cars, 37 Maxim MG, 21 transport, 32 Vickers MG, 3 advanced airships, 199 Colonial infantry, 9 Indian infantry, 4 BB, 33 Dreads, 11 CA, 12 DD, 8 home guard, 3 marine, 23 cav, 186 col cav, 2 Canadian cav, 3 Aussie inf, 2 Aussie cav, 22 Col sentry, 6 city guard, 7 artillery. (They are looking a bit run down these days).

    German OOB:

40 infantry, 15 cav, 8 transports, 5 BB, 9 Dreadnaughts, 3 SS, 16 HG/City guard, 35 Maxim MG, 57 improved MG, 27 Col inf, 9 Col cav, 4 engineer, 16 arty, 15 Fokker E1 fighter, 8 trench garrison. (92 MG units, all in Europe. Ugh).

    Quick Update:
Did not get to play today as I forgot about the US holiday, Memorial Day.

I will get to the Caribbean Campaign tomorrow and have more regular updates during the week.

Here is a nice shot of the troops marching into Tsingtao Amsterdam

    Caribbean Campaign

Scout the Straits of Cuba with a Momo and spot an American sub. Depth Charges follow resulting in an oil slick on the surface.

Load invasion force and land them near Santiago de Cuba (Spain's last New World Possession) and then shell the town to reduce defender's strength.

Grab some more troops and Battle-wagons and conduct a landing and preparatory shelling of Paramibo (British).

Move reinforcements and transports from central Pacific to the South American theater.

    TBC

and for documentary interest: Here is a shot of the South Caribbean Fleet shelling British positions in Paramibo

Reworked dispositions in the Eastern Med. Land forces on Cyprus and next to Palermo.

Move a few more Arty to the Continent and Bombard the Royal Navy from Amsterdam.

F1 - verify specialists in cities.

    IBT:
Spain goes to war with France:goodjob: (Nice to keep the French busy in Europe for a while).
Central America brings in the Balcans against us. As they have destroyers scattered around the Med, this could be messy.
Ottomans Give us the Boot from Cretan waters (the cretins). I think that because they are furious already, and their Arctic Expeditionary force has been working its way south into Russia, I'll see If I can't get them to declare and finish off their 2 African cities. The Italians (our stalwart allies (oh boy)) have a Cav taking up the other tile on Crete, so I don't know that I can finish them but the African towns are worth it.

    Enemy Moves:
Balcan Destroyers in the Eastern Med sink a cruiser but take a lot of Zone of control damage from our Momo's in the area. Balcan Infantry assaults our MG covering a convict worker right across the border and wins capturing the worker. They infiltrate a cav into Russia.

The British fight some Italians in Cagliara and lose two cavs attacking our landing forces on Cyprus. They move Fleets in the Channel and drop an invasion force of 3 cav and an armored car E of Amsterdam.

US Airships bombard picket fleets in the Pacific and the Central Caribbean Task force.

A helpful German Raider BB attacks and sinks an unseen Royal Navy ship East of London, and then German Ground forces politely wipe out the British landing next to Amsterdam:). They also eliminate the Balcan cav invader for us.

French airship bombards Morrocco and a small flotilla moves into shore battery range along the South African coast. :p

    Africa Campaign:
Our Forces Take Diego Suares and Tanarive on Madagascar with no losses. One strategically cut road tile strands 8 British Colonial Infantry in the jungle south of Diego Suares.

    Caribbean.
The fleet bombards and then the land forces commence the attack.
We overcome all opposition and capture this last Spanish Colonial possession. A glance at Nuevitas to the North shows a US Volunteer Cav as the defender. Hmm... Send a Corps and take out the Cav and 2 colonial sentries, Send the next corps, 3 more sentries down and the city is ours! Havana will fall easily next turn.
A Destroyer raid on Cancun brings down one Airship.

The South Caribbean task force shells Paramaribo and we have just enough forces to capture it, and then rush in to transports of reinforcements.:mischief:

    Europe:
With the foolish attack of the Balcan Forces on the mighty empire, a thorough reconnaissance reveals three weak cities: Kerkira, Pristina and Bukharest. We'll see what we can do about that. Our 15 CM guns redline the MGs in Kerkira and the *elite cavs and inf take them out. Follow up with more Inf and Kerkira is ours. Push on to Pristina, pound it with remaining 15 cm guns, and assault. Lose one *E Cav, but gain a Corps. Send in the remaining 7.5 CM mountain guns and a couple of Corps shipped from Africa and Bukharest falls netting us another Corps!:goodjob: The Balcans are down to 2 heavily defended cities: Athens and Belgrade.

    More Tomorrow.

No idea what it was doing there, but probably left over from the previous war. They were up there during my turns. It is one stack of infantry.

The stack is 4 Ottoman Infantry (7.7.2) all carrying RMs. I hopefully gave them the boot, but they declined their prime opportunity to defy our Glorious Empire and meekly moved back to their winter camp 6 tiles NNE of Chauskov.

Shelled and sank 2 French Cruisers and a Steam Transport off South Africa.

Worked through F1 liberally rushing arty, Infantry, Harbors and Intl Customs Ports. Worked through the Scandinavian Shipyards and mm-ed to get four 100 SPT towns. Lulea, Trondheim, Oslo, and Stockholm. These towns can short rush a ST (80), an Ibuki (BC) (960) and then build a Setsu in 1 turn. Towns that Produce 50 SPT can short rush an ST and an Airship for 1 turn Setsus.

Continued moving reinforcements from our Island holdings toward South America.

Used some of the newly de-barked troops in Paramaribo to clean up some small incursions of British troops and 3 Brazilian Cav units. Killed the British cav and then as I took out an understrength Colonial Infantry, a New Corps was Born!:goodjob:
Killed the rest of the Brazilian cavs and bombarded some wandering Brazilian MGs.

Continued moving reinforcements from Asia to Europe, using any arty to bombard Royal Navy vessels outside Amsterdam.

Continue moving troops and cashing in some RMs from Africa to Turkey, Italy, and Spain. Sortie a Momo to Shell Palermo and shoot down another Airship. :goodjob: The pictures below are of the wreckage than landed near our troops.

Shell a few more airships in Belize. Finish up loose ends of movements of troops before the Between turn.

Question: I have played 2 turns, but probably won't get the third turn done before I break for the weekend. I'd like to play some more turns, but if someone has the time this weekend to get a turnset in, I don't want to prevent that.

So: Should I prep for a hand-off this weekend, or continue through to next week?

I'd say it's up to Tigranes. I can tell you with the Stanley Cup in full force I'm iffy at best over the next week.

    Lovin' the pics Ivan.
