I never expect a mod to be finished before I see it posted. I'm pretty sure 9/10 mods and scenarios never gets completed.
Sad but true. Im still mourning the GREAT EPIC by ronning. There was something going there I tell ya. Mybe a new Elder will be started and upon a search your work will be reycled some day.(if your around to provide it)

Were you surprised that The Playground Mod was finished with only 2 people modding it?
Personally though, I think the rate of failure is much lower. Deadlines being extended a few times, but eventually getting it done is very common, but outright canceling I would have to put at half of them.

Believe me, having more people working on a project like this does not normally mean it takes less time. Anyone who has ever been on a committee of any kind will know why.

I know, they will argue amongst themselves about stuff, and then the human errors (procrastination of individuals who are entrusted with important stuff), and others not understanding each other in terms of what they want.
But still. Most mods have something like 5 or more dedicated modders. We got it done with 2.

Till Flamand came along it was just me and folks who would stick around for a week or two then disappear.
Truth be told I think an optimum number of folks on a mod team would be three. Once gfx dude, one text dude, and the team lead who does all the grunt work, adding all the stuff to the mod and tweaking where needed.
