I'm getting slightly scared of donsig now...

May as well post times that I would hold chats (in the event I win...) Saturday mornings are out of the question, simply because I can't wake up that early, and I always have to help my dad do something, usually at the farm. Times, then, would run around...
    Saturday, 9 PM EST
    Wednesday, 7 PM EST
(Hopefully, of course, preturns wouldn't run around 3 hours... :D)

    Thank you candidates.

With your blessings, then and in an attempt to facilitate a smooth transition between terms, I will go ahead and post a turn-chat instruction thread for the next turn chat which, if all goes well, appears likely to take place sometime on Saturday regardless of the victor in this election.

I'll have it at 10am just for Feb. 1st. Reason? My little sister has orchestra, and my parents are taking her to her school and they won't be back until 12:30 or so. They'll probably be taking me somewhere sometime after that. So, it's possible that I could play 5 turns, then pass it on to the next in line.

I'm still wondering why this poll has closed prematurely. By my calculations, Feb 1 is still a good number of hours away....

What gives here? The poll was closed and then reopened? Someone has an explanation I presume?

What, I can't ask for an explanation? The vote didn't change for 12 hours or so, the poll closes, then it reopens and there are three more votes all of a sudden. And I can't ask for an explanation?

No, I didn't mean that. I meant about the PI's that are going to ensue. :)

We can't have PIs without first having explanations. ;)

Seriously, would a PI even apply? It is our mods who open (and I presume) close our election polls. I am not sure mod powers are subjext to our Three Books.

An explanation would be nice though. Also, if you start the chat tomorrow and then leave it would appear that both Octavian and I owuld be passed over as neither of us can claim to be Vice-President right now. :( And I think the poll is still open which is technically wrong since the vote should have ended at midnight GMT, right?
