start is kind of tricky, not sure if this is the best path. AH is good value bc 3 food sources plus possible horses for defense. FIN+PHI as well as meeting boudi/genghis in the first 20 turns screams that research should not be a problem at all and high production is #1 priority. barbs have not been an issue at all.
got lucky and popped silver t49 but don't think it really matters. after pottery and maybe writing, you don't really need any more tech for a long time,

Not that many good city spots for sharing food so a lot of cities are just growing on cottages. 7 cities (26 pop) by t91, could settle an 8th by the fish/copper, not sure if worth yet.
Losing 55gpt at 100% still. FIN doing a lot of heavy lifting here lol.
Map only has 800 tiles but I still have plenty of room, no touching borders. Could get 2 cities east (including barb city) and 1-2 more to the north, but probably better to just stay small until cuirs

I would never gift cities early on immortal difficulty for security reasons. Not even against Shaka.

Don't think war immunity is that valuable, but it's not worthless either especially if you are very new to immortal level.

@pokeii Look at that settling pattern and chopping by jnebbe. Too busy to play now myself, but I think that is roughly what my game would look like around T90.

Settle more cities closer, chop and grow.

standard cuir attack. Bulbed philo+education then 2 merchants for upgrading. Captured 6 cities and capped genghis. Played a little further but the game is already won and I cba spending however many hours to finish it
Nice map, I think if you dodge an early dow it should be pretty easy, but if the other ais drag you into the mud with them it could get really tough.
