I really like the Elohim now with all the changes to them.

However:

Devouts don't seem to upgrade to Priests of the Empyrean. They do upgrade to priests of leaves, stonewardens, and confessors.

I'm trying to make a super army of priests of all religions in my Elohim Army, and its annoying to have to make more than just scouts to be upgraded... :D

What did you think of the Pacifist promotion they get when they leave their borders?

Did you try any exploration in the early game, and how did that work out?

I've said it once or twice but...

"Don't attack, just explore..."

Unless you're actively attacking the enemy units, you're no weaker than you were before.

:D

Will check on that - sounds like they didn't get the upgrade option when Shadow came out...
EDIT: Added it now.

I found the pacifist promotion to not hurt me much at all. I conqurered Alexis and Fayerl on Epic / Emperor with a boatload of bronze axemen. The pacifist promotion really stinks on Monks, though, since their strength was already reduced, it makes them tough to get to a level you need them at...

Any chance Pacifist will give a defensive strike chance when the big merge happens?

So How many traits can you get from the "holy places"?

I have gotten expansive and spiretual.

Patria - Industrious
Sirona - Spiritual
Tears - Expansive

Bradelines Well - Stop monsters, eliminate entropy mana
Odio's Prison - Reuse worldspell
Mirror of Heaven - +1 happy in all cities
