Emergency Food Rationing Act

This Act is intended to allow the government to ration food and other agricultural products in the case of war, natural disaster or loss of food imports due to other emergency disasters.

Section 1:
1.1 The government may to restrict and control the distribution and storage of food or other agricultural products in an emergency situation.
1.2 The government may restrict and control the production of food or other agricultural products in an emergency situation.
1.3 The government may ration food and other agricultural products in the event of an emergency situation.

Section 2:

2.1 An Emergency Situation is defined as a critical, or potentially critical shortfall of food or other agricultural products that may lead to severe widespread illness or famine like situation.
2.2 This act may NOT be invoked in any case BUT an emergency situation.

Section 3:
3.1 The rationing and other administrative duties associated with this Act are to be handled by the central government in unison with the military and other organizations chosen as the government sees fit.

I think following the declaration of Habeas Corpus, Martial Law or State of Emergency are the three terms activating this law.

I think we also need to develop a self sustainment policy for agrobusinesses, so we have a base agricultural production just to stay safe.
