Hi guys!

I just wanted to announce a mod I've been working on - since before Civ4's release!!! It will add new leaders, units, wonders and possible gameplay changes.

As things are completed updates will be posted - right now conceptual work is being finalized.

Civilizations:

Babylonians:
Nebuchadnezzar, Creative + Industrious; Hereditary Rule
Hammurabi, Organized + Philosophical; Police State

Bowman - Replaces Archer, Has an extra first strike

Ottomans:
Suleyman, Expansive + Philosophical; Beauracracy
Memhed II, Aggressive + Organized; Hereditary Rule

Jannissary - Replaces Musketman, Costs 10 less Shields

Celts:
Brennus, Aggresseive + Spiritual; Paganism

Raider - Replaces Swordsman, +1 Movement, -1 Strength, Requires no Iron

Carthage:
Hannibal, Aggresseive + Financial; Police State

Numidian Mercenary - Replaces spearman, Requires no resources

Romans:
Augustus Caesar, Creative + Organized; Representation
Constantine, Spiritual + Creative; Organized Religion

Egyptians:
Ramses II, Aggressive + Industrious; Police State

Japanese:
Mutsuhito, Industrious + Organized; Free Market

Persia:
Darius I, Aggressive + Expansive; Hereditary Rule

Spanish:
Charles I, Expansive + Financial; Hereditary Rule

Wonders:

The Statue of Zues
The Temple of Artemis
The Mausoleum
Knight's Templar
The East India Company (national wonder)
Theory of Evolution
Cure for Cancer
Sydney Opera House

Is this mod going to be full of additions or replacements? You can't have an empire mod without the English!

May I suggest you change this to Meiji? It seems a more natural choice to me. For a Japanese imperial themed wonder I would suggest Yasukuni Shrine (give some kind of military bonus or reduce war unhappiness). The Meiji Restoration (give some kinda of bonus towards production) would also be a good choice.

Seems like a good idea but I think you really should add the French who could be lead by Louis XIV and the Austrians lead by Maximilian I.

Some more wonders would be good too.
 
The french will be in the mod ;)

I really debated having Austria in but technically its not really a civilization
 
I consider Austria more of a country than a civilization, because there was no ancient austria. Civs like america are in because right now they are world powers.
 
The Sydney Opera House as a World Wonder is a very good idea. And it makes sense too because you can't read about Australia without seeing a picture of it.
 
Yes, I thought it would tie in with great people (artists and engineers in particular).

Unique Units are up! These are not the only new units -

I will either

1) Give each civ another unique unit
or
2) Give specific leaders unique units (like a Dromon for Constantine)

I am also looking into third leaders for some nations - If you have ideas for these, unique units, or changes to what I have, by all means share them! :)
 
well i don't have civ 4 yet i think its released in the uk tomorrow (sucks to be us!) but i'd go with militaristic and something else, as i don't have the game so i don't know what the availible traits are
