2 Visayan warriors from Visayas
2 Moro warriors from Mindanao
1 Negrito warrior

Thanks. I really enjoyed making the unique swords and shields for these guys. It's amazing what can be made out of primitives.

Can't tell from the previews - which unit has the kris? All the blades look straight to me.

Does anyone know if similar looking units existed outside Phillipines - somewhere in SE Asia perhaps? (Can you tell I'm looking for reasons to use them in other scenarios?)

Most of the references came from the Boxer Codex which was made for the Spanish around 1600, but I imagine they were that way for a long time.

I think he meant the Kampilan that the Moro Swordsman has.

The Moros could work for Malaysia or Indonesia probably.
