Empty visuals for custom civ uniques buildings/improvments?

Hi, I started creating a custom civ and I noticed that my unique building/improvments are always invisible.
I tried using other mod as player (was using them for AIs so never noticed the issue) and it seems it's the same.

I know we can't add assets now, but I tought we could at least reuse the existing ones for unique buildings/improvments/units, or am I doing it wrong?

There is a way to remap the visual models of units, but not buildings. What I do is use buildings from an earlier age and update all the database values to reflect my custom building. Update the age of course. The game will just think it's building that building, but the texts and effects will be what you want.

Sadly, the game doesn't like for you to update the building icon either.
