Emulator sound problem.

Ok. I use ZSNES. At first, the sound worked great, but after a while, sound degraded, and is now not working at all.

So I get another emulator, Snes9x, but all I'm getting out of that is a weak beeping sound.

I still have both of these emulators on my computer.

Can anyone help?

Nope... VDMSound is for providing a DOS sound driver emulation in Windows for DOS programs. It won't change anything here.

Well, the sound problems could either be an issue with your own PC, the emulator, or a fault in the ROM or ISP patch you are using (ISPs are files used for patches and translations of ROMs) If the problem only occuring with one ROM, or with the program as a whole?

Right now, in SNES9X, the problem is only with the SimEarth game.

Of course, I could always play simearth on the old console (which I do have), but where's the fun of speeding up the frame rate?
