Hi folks,

I'd like to play the Mulcarn Reborn Scenario, but at the moment, this scenario doesn't work, because the enemy AI never settles. I have tried to manipulate the scenariofile, adding settlers to each enemy, but this doesn't help. The settlers stay in the city, never settling anywhere.

I'm not really into Moding Civ, so can anyone suggest changes to the scenario file, that enables the AI to settle?

Thanks in advance,
Frank

Sephi had posted a fix to this problem. I can try to find it, you should look around the forum. The problem comes from the always war setting that makes the AI pump out troops and not settle.

Best wishes,

Hi Breunor,

I already removed the always war setting, but the settlers I gave to them still remain in the capital. Maybe that's because they have no "guarding forces"? Is there any AI-Setting that says the troop "Go with and defend the settler"? (I tried it with UnitAI_Settle but this crashed the game *g*)

Thanks a lot,
Frank

Hmm,

Maybe you can test/solve this through brute force instead of coding. You can:

1. Go into the worldbuilder, give the enemy a city, and remove the settler, or

2. Go into the worldbuilder, an simply give the enemy IA some warriors to see if the problem is the escorts.

Best wishes,

Breunor
