I really need to go to sleep, but just a couple of things I noticed right away: Leaders have a variable number of minor traits. Julius Caesar here has 5 of them. Also, one of them is a straight up malus.

This one reminded me there are no special faction units.A shame.
Yeah, as much as I have to criticise about Civ 6, the unique units as well as unique infrastructures (buildings, districts, improvements) added a lot of flavour to each civ, and in my opinion, many of the civs were very well designed. I suppose the idea in Ara is that everyone can unlock the same things, and the leader traits are what differentiates the players. It's similar to Civ 4 in that respect, but with the addition of a major trait that is unique to each leader.

I wouldn't have minded unique units and infrastructures though. Infrastructures especially, as unique units may not be as interesting in Ara, since there is less focus on individual units, and combat is on the level of armies instead.
