I was looking through the pedia, and in the Queen of the Line's entry it says that they are the largest ships to sail the seas "before the abrupt end of the Age of Rebirth". What exactly does that refer to? The player's victory in the game? Armageddon? A new Age of Ice as Auric ascends? Something else? I don't remember the Age of Rebirth really getting anything that could be called an abrupt end in the scenarios.

I guess it could mean any of those. The ending is left intentionally blank AFAIK.

it says in FF in the pedia for Danmos of the Dural that the the dural are the only reason why there are still records of the age of rebirth and the subsequent age of despair. I think Aegeres takes over

FF, however, is non-canon. Kael himself gave other possibilities other than an Age of Despair. One of them is the Age of Enlightenment, where the world is led closer to the One, and another is the Age of Technology, where magic slowly declines and something closer to vanilla Civ takes place.
