Where can I find some good information/history on this? I'd like a clear definition and distinction between epistemic relativism and other, similar ideas such as perspectivism. I looked around aghast on the internet, but I need to up my Google-Fu, I guess.

I also heard from a not-very-reliable person that full epistemic relativism was advocated by David Hume. Is that accurate or (possibly) equivocation between it and the problem of induction?

Why is this unsatisfactory?

Epistemic relativism rejects the idea that claims can be assessed from a universally applicable, objective standpoint.

Though:
... we cannot always tell where relativism leaves off and other views, such as skepticism or subjectivism, begin.
