Does anyone miss this from Civ1/2? I used to love seeing each leader begin looking like cavemen, then adapt as the years go on until everyone's wearing suits and things.

Takes some of the immersion out when you meet Eilzabeth in 2800BC and she's sitting in a throne, all dressed up... or Montezuma in 2010AD, and he still appears to be preparing to eat you.

A little bit, but the leader screens are so well made that I just can't bring myself not to love them. And in the end of the day the thing that bugs me the most is actually how static the 2d background is, not that they don't change clothes.

uh no thanks I like Civ5 current leader screens.
Agreed!
Why would that be good,I want the leaders how they really looked.

I to would like this but if it is bugging you think of them not as current leaders but people who represent that civilisation and it's achievements.

Yeah, I agree with you on this one. When spawning in the ancient era and finding say.. Washington in a lovely room, nice coat etc.. seems a little out of place to me. But then again Gandhi just told me
''Our words are backed by nuclear weapons.'' and I love the quirkiness.

This game is human history in a blender. :)
