Error Message

The game starts, but when I start a game this message appears on screen and won't go away. It appears in the screen that announces events and completely blocks vision.

Bug options-failed writing INI file 'C:\Program Files (x86)\2K Games\Firaxis Games\Sid Meir's Civilization 4 Complete\Beyond the Sword\Mods\Caveman2Cosmos\]UserSettings\Autologin'

Anyone know how to fix this?

You need to run Civ as Administrator.

The account I am on is the administrator account of my computer. Is that what you mean?

If you used the default settings when you installed Civ then it will be in a folder that can only have files in it changed if the program is being run as administrator. We write to .ini files in our folder to keep your preferences. Depending on your operating system I think you need to right click on the short cut that runs Civ then "go advanced" or select "properties" and somewhere in there is an option to "run as administrator".
