When you play a mod for Civ 4 that is not completely stable, you might get these assertion errors every now and then.
They're not critical, and it's usually enough to just click "Ignore Always" and keep having an awesome day. However, ever since I got myself a new laptop with Windows 10, these errors cause my mouse to not be able to click. I get the spinning globe icon as my mouse cursor. No item anywhere, neither within Civ 4 nor when tabbed out, is clickable. Shutting down Civ 4 through the task manager is not possible, because it's not possible to select the appropriate process without a clickable mouse. If only I had some way to click "Ignore Always", I figure the problem would be solved.
Has anyone ever encountered this problem? If yes, do you have any solution for it? Windowed mode does solve it for me, but windowed mode is buggy in itself and I'd rather not use it.
