Basically, you can buy relics with faith now...
It's the cat scout.
Cultists generate a relic when consumed or destroyed in any way. This makes Khmer and Martyr-promoted apostles seem kind of disappointing.
So, you can get more from just one envoy in a CS, but less from tier 1 buildings, and tier 3 buildings got a considerable buff.
So it does apply empire wide, but it is a gating mechanism. Gets all the building, but no longer +2 on tier 1. Definitely cuts the instant 'I found a CS and get a bonus yield' benefit. Which reduces RNG but does nerf scouting a bit. And perhaps civs like Kupe who can really find those CSes first. Also probably a bit of a boost to some of the innate faith civs (i.e. Indonesia, Mali, Russia) as it's harder to get an early pantheon on an early CS meet (but early relic goody huts are presumably still out there).
super charged consulate building , they get all the city state bonuses seperate
Yeah, RIP martyrs. Although now you have a guaranteed way to generate them, so big bonus to Kongo/Poland
Cultists are OP.
I really hope some game modes won't be so brokenly OP. I would like to play them without feeling dirty
Yea, balance seems completely out of wack in the NFP.
Some of the Relics of the Void:
"A lot of the modes coming up are not as fantastical", meant to be left on, affecting turn to turn historical games
A few more special Relics
Only one vampire per Governor promotion. Max of 4.
You can only have up to 4 Vampires
Makes sense - they are pretty OP.
Apostles should be able to kill vampires...
If they are in a vampire castle (or your capital) they can be killed.
Also, they're killed by Comet strikes and nuclear weapons.
So.... nuke the vampires.
Vampires + Comandante General = Totally OP!
*stopped watching the stream a while ago so may have missed details*
Just to be clear... you can't kill them any other way?
Separate names with a comma.
