Europa Europa: European Empires Mod

Where did the new specialists go? Are they coming back? I hope they do, I really like them.
 
I don't check here for a couple of days and it looks like some good changes have been made. Without running through all of the pages....where are the new files you guys have added? Are V. Soma's map and Gunner's UUs uploaded yet? :goodjob:
 
I have a problem with the game, but this may relate to me being unable to run it on v 1.52 (stupid unfixable video memory bug!). Whenever I try to change civics, I am unable to do so because there is no other option for revolution. I dunno if this is related to the mod itself or if i's because I don't have 1.52. Any ideas?
 
Lotta EU2 rips with the graphics. Looks like this has become a pretty solid scenario. V. Soma and Gunner are here? How does it compare to RoX guys?
 
Yeah this scenario is pretty good I'd say Aeon. A worthy sucessfor (at least for now) to RoX. Its actually alot like the regular RoC before the expansion, but just with Europe.

V Soma posted his modified map a page or two back I think. I have already completed the xml files for the UU's and I'm planning on releasing them publicly once I get some skins for them. If you want to see the files now just PM me your email and I'll send them over.
 
No hurry on the files Gunner. I was just hoping I hadn't missed anything. How many skins are you lacking?
 
could someone help me please... where do I save modpacks, civilzation heads, or units at? under mydocuments? please be specific... I am new to civilzation

I tentatively have 11 skins that I should be able to use. So that means there are 25 which we will need. But some I should be able to do some of them myself pretty easily I think. Expect a full release sometime next weekend, because I'm not going to really do anything this week due to me having exams. :(

Put the mod-folder "EE3" in the MOD folder under:

C:\Program Files\Firaxis Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 4\Mods

or something like that

Put the two map-files (WBS) under:

C:\Program Files\Firaxis Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 4\PublicMaps

or something like that

As ArbitraryGuy you must be fair.
But in your creation it is not happent.
Can you imagine Europian Empires without a Greek Empire , the Ancient or Byzantine :confused: :confused: :confused:

Well, the Byzantine's are in the game for one thing. And if you care to notice the rest of the civs are all patterned on the medieval/renaissance time period. Greece was not a major power then. You must remember that there is a limit of 18 civs and we must do the best we can within it.

I think I'm going to give the Streltsy the woodsman I promotion also. And its not like they are worse than regular musketman, they should win with the first strike.

I did look for errors in the map. I added the ModPath and took out the MaxTurns option when I posted your map on the front. You're a very good map maker :goodjob:. How about revising my Medieval Mod map sometime in the future???

I was comparing Streltsy with other unique musketman type units, not to the regular musketman.:)

I played my game, hmm it was interesting:
Catholics made coalition(+Peter+Jan Sobiesky+Leonardo Loredano) + orthodox Ferdinand III(he started this big machinery) against Mathias(he had Catholic Holy city:crazyeye: ) and they called me to help them and I said YES:), I took 2 cities on Balcan and 1 on coast of Black sea, Peter took catholic holy city and some cities took others, Mathias still live with 1-2 cities(on start of war he had 10 cities). I am friend with Peter(catholic), Sobiesky(catholic), Vytuatas(orthodox), Gustav Adolf(orthodox), Henrich VIII(ortodox) and Ferdinand III(orthodox). I have plan convert Peter and Sobiesky to orthodox and attack on Leonardo. Suleiman still live but he have still less and less city(maybe 3-4 now, I have here small army). In the midlle of big war, Barbarosa(my big friend) declared war on me and i killed his big horse archer/swordman army.:)

I still lead in tech/army size+quality/money/production and population.:D

I posted a sneak-peak in the main C&C forum at your request. Take a look and let me know your suggestions and what you think. Eventually I will need beta testers.
