Europe 61*45 18 player for Beyond the Sword with north Africa and the near East

Hi folks,

this is the 18 player Beyond the Sword variant of the 61*45 Europe Map with north Africa and the near East.
There are 18 civis: Spain, France, England, Germany, Rome, Greece,
Russia, Egypt, Carthage, Ottoman, Viking, Netherlands, Portugal,
Holy Roman, Byzantium, Babylon, Celt and Mongol.

Some start positions are not even fair. It's a map for diplomatic I think.

There are no goodie huts. Oil is hard to get for the western countries.

An this is an other Beyond the Sword variant of the 61*45 Europe Map.
All countries have Oil and uranium near there starting locations.
(Not like in the real world but for game balance.)

looks nice. will check it now. hope it has resources in big deposits to use later with corporation. most of this warlords based maps has very few resources.
Genghis_Kai earth map is great example of how map for bts should looks like

edit: yeah, good map, lots of resources but not to many

such awesome map and no replies I'm bumping this thread so more peoples can find this map. Imo it's best europe map for bts at the moment

I think should have more oil. Just a few civ have acess to oil.

It's a great map. Great war, good balance. It's nice see AI vs AI.

But Russia is overpowred. All games russia is to big and have a flood units. It's so easy to AI conquer small AI. Need to be more hard to russia.

Poor portugal, no chance.

First of all: Great map!

Though its a bit slow in the end for my computer to say the least. I was wondering if it is possible to cut away a big part of the east?

-Say down the middle of the black sea or at it´s west coast.
-Maybe move russia a bit closer to germany, so they are still on the map, though dont have endless land to expand into....
-Remove some of Africa, say like the buttom 6 tiles.
-The nations that´s not within the cut are left out.

I know this might not be the propper historical europa, BUT it would make for great gameplay.

I really hope there is some one that can- and will make these changes. have seen some other people asking for these changes aswell to europa maps, though it has not be make yet.... SO i thought I´m going to do that......

I´ve tryed to figure it out for myself, though after speending an evening with it, I still can´t do this

So if one with the knowledge to do so would help out, I would be glad
