Game Parameters:

World Size: Standard
World Type: 70% Ocean Pangaea
Climate: Normal, Warm, 3 Billion Years Ago
Barbarians: Raging
Difficulty: Regent
Civ: France
Opponents: The Militaristic ones (Rome, Germany, China, Japan, Aztecs, Zulu)
Conquest/Domination disabled

Goal: To militarily dominate the world. Meaning: I want to be able to extort whatever we want from anyone, win any war handily, and basically make every other civ our slave. Of course, the twist is conquest and domination victories are disabled! This means that infrastructure and economy are vital. Diplomacy is enabled, but my hope is that everyone hates us - but fears us.

The game will commence once EXII reaches 1700 AD (probably tomorrow). Looking for 5-6 players, hopefully at least a few new people.

Why disable Domination and Conquest then want a military victory? Not too sure I see the point here?

brian j - thats the challenge! I want to be able to make everyone cower under our might, but I don't want a bloodbath. This is the ultimate strategy SG, maintaining significant military prowess along with economic and scientific stability. And it is possible, I've done it (with limited success, but what are SGs for?)

anyways... this SG looks like a failure.

I think you are right that this one is dead.

I have seen RBB series fill in hours.
I have filled LK series in hours.

Several days and no bites?
I suspect a lot of people are like me -
Confused with the premise of the game -
Build military - but no military victory?

Plus, most of the succession game players are military victory players.

Hello, just registered to these forums and want to try some SGs. I have played civ3 now some time and won on monarch lvl so I am not totally new to civ3 but not real genious either so if this game still starts count me on this one.
