Extended City Razing Period

    Interested in if a modder can look into creating an extended period of city razing.

    Example: City is conquered. City has 11 population. Conqueror chooses to raze the city.
    City loses 1 population point per turn until it reaches 1 population. At 1 population the city is then destroyed.
    For the duration, the city's cultural borders are possessed by the conquering party as if they had chosen to keep the city.

    Modders choice on what they would prefer to do to handle city production for the duration.

    Reasoning: I play with Quo's mod, which nerfs general city defense capabilities in addition to AI+ which certain improves the AI's ability to blitzkrieg an undefended city. Sometimes a raiding city-state sideswipes one of the best cities of a powerful leading AI, crippling their strength in the process. The city-state is then programmed to immediately burn the city so it can't be recovered, even though the defending civilization easily could have done so given a few turns.

    Ideally this mod would give the defender a few precious turns to rally to the defense and salvage their city to maintain their strength and increase the challenge of versus AI games.


    Note: If you know of a mod that already exists to do this, please point me in the way. I gave it a look but was only able to find mods focused on war weariness and nothing directly impacting the process of razing cities.
