Failure to Start

I loaded the game onto my PC and played it once, and then the next time I tried to open the game this message popped up:
This application has failed to start because D3DX9_32.DLL was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem.
I can't do anything at all, including un-installing the game. Can anyone help me?

Can you find that DLL on your system? I've seen some other reports on this so you could do a search of the forums.
