"Fall" Update, could this be indicative?

Maybe I'm reading a bit too much into it, but when the first patch for a game is linked to a season, I start to speculate about the frequency of future updates.

Updates aren't a Steam sale, there are still some things that need to be fixed. Any chance there's really nothing to this title and we can expect regular updates?

I came late to Civ V, so never really got a grasp on the update habits of Firaxis.

Big patches are often named by seasons, but there could be hotfixes and probably some small patches acompanying DLC.

With Civ 5 there were patches named by season or month.
We've had a fall patch for Civ 5, but also a december patch and an april patch, for instance.

Well, it's winter in just 2 weeks, so...

Don't really know anything about the frequency of patches we should expect from Firaxis though.
