Keepers must be declared by Jan 31.

16 teams H2H
C, 1B, 2B, 3B, SS, MI, CI, OF x 4, Util, SP x 4, RP x 3, P x 3
R, H, HR, RBI, SB, BA, OBA, SLG,IP, W, L, CG, SV, K, HLD, ERA, WHIP

These are the keepers, some are mandatory, some are no brainer cheap (option years: 1=2016 only):

Paul Goldschmidt Ari - 1B
Andrew McCutchen Pit - OF
Kole Calhoun LAA - OF (1)
José Fernández Mia - SP (1)
Matt Harvey NYM - SP (2)
Carlos Carrasco Cle - SP,RP (1)
Carlos Rodon ChC - SP (4)
Kelvin Herrera KC - RP (5)

Giving this lineup

1B Goldschmidt
OF McCutchen
OF Calhoun

SP Fernandez
SP Harvey
SP Rodon
SP Carrasco
RP Herrera

Third mandatory keeper. Bearing in mind the options below, choose 1:
Robinson Cano - 2B
Adrien Beltre - 3B

There are also option players. I can keep up to 6 of these, most likely are bolded

Devon Travis Tor - 2B
Jedd Gyorko SD - 2B,SS
Cory Spangenberg SD - 2B,3B
Christian Yelich Mia - OF
Ketel Marte Sea - 2B,SS
J.P. Crawford Phi - SS
Trevor Story Col - SS
Lucas Giolito Was - SP
Nathan Karns TB - SP
Sean Newcomb LAA - SP

All come with 2 option years. Giolito gets a bonus option year. Players with a Y! rank 150-199 gets a bonus option year. Y! rank below 200 gets 2 or 3 bonus option years.

Mid-round picks.

This is the final list in the draft rounds to which they ascribe.

Round 8: José Fernández
Round 9: Matt Harvey
Round 10`: Christian Yelich
Round 11`: Carlos Carrasco
Round 12`: Ketel Marte
Round 13`: JT Realmuto
Round 14`: Trevor Story

Round 20:
Round 21:
Round 22:
Round 23: Kelvin Herrera

Devon Travis' injury is not close to healed, so he is out. I decided the 6th round pick for Kole Calhoun was too pricey. Cano over Beltre. In addition, I am rolling three rounds at my SS/MI situation in hopes of a long-term solution. They all have options for 2017 and 2018, though the latter is pricey.

In the draft, Gerrit Cole is the logical first pick. After that, Prince Fielder, Beltre, Bogaerts and Kipnis are already in the pool. I own the #3 selection.

Hmmmmmm this team looks so familiar...:mischief:

I agree. It makes a useful ADP list. That said, there are always oddities.

For my team, above, my first pick (4th round) was Prince Fielder. I was hoping for Bogaerts, but a slugging 1B will work as well. That said, the Prince is trade bait. Here is the roster so far. I need a 3B, 2 OF and rebuild the bullpen.

4th round pick - Prince Fielder, 1B
5th round pick - David Robertson, RP
6th round pick - Ian Desmond, SS
7th round pick - Sean Doolittle, RP
18th round pick - Yasmany Tomas, 3B
19th round pick - Eddie Rosario, OF
20th round pick - Nori Aoki, OF
21st round pick - Hyun-jin Ryu, SP
22nd round pick - Mark Reynolds, 1B/3B
24th round pick - Max Kepler, 1B
25th round pick - Zack Wheeler, SP
26th round pick - Greg Bird, 1B
27th round pick - Shawn Kelley, RP
28th round pick - Tyler Goeddel, OF
29th round pick - Corey Knebel, RP

I have two more picks coming up in round 7 and 8 (we are finishing round 7 in which I had two picks) and then I don't pick again until round 16, as I traded away round 12. My "first pick" was David Ortiz (pick 69, 4th round). I know how fascinating all of that must be to you all.

I really wanted to have both Corey and Kyle Seager on my team but I will just have to be content just owning three of the most exciting rookie middle infielders in baseball I guess.

IR Zack Wheeler

Technically, Zack Wheeler is on the bench. When the league becomes active, he goes to IR and I pick someone off of the waiver wire.
