I like these. If I may make a suggestion, since you are modelling using AoE buildings, perhaps you could use some of the other AoE or AoK buildings such as towers for Lookout towers, fortresses etc.

BTW I am using your lighthouse in my new mod Napoleonic Wars II - Global
It was just what I needed.

Yes, i might create some new gfx out of AOE, but i already like the outpost i made. Perhaps a new medieval radar tower would be a good idea though.
