Here in France, we have only BBC News, CNN, Fox News and Al Jazeera.
About Al Jazeera, I don't understand a word about it so I don't watch it a lot.
About CNN, their treatment of information is to me too superficial. Watching CNN is a bit like reading Associated Press stories : it's good to know the headlines but not to have deeper views on it.
BBC is a good one. There are good analyzis and during the news flash, journalists are trying to say more than simply "An Earthquake occured in Bam, 20,000 people died". To me BBC News is the best english speaking news channel.
About FoxNews, I'm not sure they actually know we can see them in France ! Their way to represent this country is totally distorted and completely inaccurate. I remember once where they wanted to prove how biased was the views of French people. To do so, they selected stories from a communist newspaper (L'Humanité) which is printed only at 30,000 copies !!
Tell me how accurate is that !
Now, the french news channel I like to watch is LCI. It's quite clever. It looks a bit like BBC News actually. Actually, I've heard it will be soon internationally broadcasted... but it will still be only in french.
