I was talking to a friend of mine and we were talking about the new GI Joe movie and it got us to talking about which GI Joes we had, and which were out favorites. he said Scarlett, and I thought Storm Shadow. Are you guys even old enough to have played with GI joes? What was your favorite?

I'm kind of partial to Cobra Commander, although I really should say Sergeant Slaughter, being a former wrestler.

Destro, iirc. But I think the action movie is going to expand my mind regarding pleathor clad heroines.

Am I old enough?? I was playing with GI Joe when GI Joe was really a GUY, not some anti-terrorist squad. You had play-along records and storybooks. That "Go Joe" team are just a bunch of sissies that the real GI Joe could take single handedly.

I never played with any of the cartoon versions of GI Joe, but as a little boy I had a Desert Storm GI Joe that was probably among the best toys I've ever owned.

Japanese toys were always better than America-originated toys.

It'd be a tie between Snake Eyes and Major Bludd.

I never watched the show and to me GI Joe dolls were never anything more than firecracker fodder.

    So no. I don't have a favorite.

Funnily enough, I used to wrestle with one of the many guys who've played Action Man over the years. I didn't even know it was a show until after I met him, I just thought it was an action figure range.
