I'd go over and buy akutagawa's collection of short stories (or try to find one that has "Hell Screen", that story is amazing). Or you can buy The Elephant Vanishes or Blind Willow, Sleeping Woman, two collections of short stories by Murakami. Out of all these options, the best known are probably "In a Grove" and "Rashomon" by Akutagawa.

In all seriousness, I vote for Mitsuo Fuchida. Honorable man as both enemy then later as friend of America.
