Which is/are your favourite mod(s) for each game.

For me it is:

Rome Total War: DarthMod, Middle Earth Total War
Medieval 2 Total War: DarthMod bowdown, Westeros Total War

Stainless Steel is better than Darthmod for M2. For Rome I have Darthmod, 4th Age, and am trying Napoleanic and Viking invasion.

Nope. DathMod is just different. Darth modded the units, buildings, AI, etc that was ALREADY in the game, while Stainless Steel both modifies and adds new stuff.

So, neither of them is better than the other

However, I have to admit that SS forum is more alive and kicking than DM forum...

Which is quite disapointing...

For M2TW I like Stainless Steel. Gave Chivalry II a try but wasn't that impressed. RTW only has one mod of any use though, and it's Europa Barbarorum. RTR is second but it has balance issues IMHO.

I'm installing EB tonight, but so far I think the best of any TW mod I've ever played was for Viking Invasion. It was called MTW XL.
